About the Journal
Aims and scope
- To create a platform of exchange for the dissemination of research results in the financial and actuarial fields.
- To provide a forum for communication and doctrinal debate for members of the actuarial profession.
- To serve as an instrument for the union and communication of the university and professional communities dedicated to financial and actuarial disciplines.
Frequency of publication
The journal Anales del Instituto de Actuarios Españoles is published annually.

The factors on which the decision on the acceptance-rejection of papers by the journal editors is based are as follows:
- Originality and interest for national and international readers, as well as the level of excellence of the contribution.
- Actuality and novelty.
- Significance for the advancement of scientific knowledge.
- Relevance and applicability of the results to the professional environment.
- Relevance of its publication in the journal, in terms of its suitability to the objectives pursued by the journal.
- Quality of presentation, terminology, clarity of exposition and the appropriateness of the title, abstract and list of key words.
