Diamond Discovery Hub (DDH)

The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) has designated the journal *Anales del Instituto de Actuarios Españoles* as a Diamond journal, having verified its compliance with the six criteria of the Diamond Discovery Hub (DDH).

So-called Diamond journals represent a model of open-access scientific publishing that guarantees complete free access for both readers and authors, eliminating any form of subscription or publication fees. They are supported by institutional funding, in this case from the professional association, and are characterised by rigorous peer-review processes, independent academic governance and the use of open licences that facilitate the dissemination and reuse of knowledge. This model promotes equity in access to science, reinforces the transparency of the publishing system and contributes to the sustainability of scientific and academic research.

Since the implementation of scientific publication in an exclusively digital Open Journal System format, the journal has been awarded the FECYT Quality Seal by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and has been included in the Journal Citation Report (JCR), ERIHPlus, Dimensions, Sherpa Romeo, Dulcinea, Publindex, EBSCO Business Source Ultimate, EBSCO Academic Source Plus, and Redalyc.
