The journal Anales del Instituto de Actuarios Españoles has improved its impact in Clarivate’s Journal Citation Report (JCR) in the Economics category, which comprises 626 scientific journals from around the world.

Specifically, the journal is ranked in Q4 Economics with a JIF percentile of 20.5, having risen from a JIF percentile of 2.1 in 2023, the year it was first included in the JCR index.

The JCR includes data on a total of 22,249 journals, of which 626 are in the Economics category, with the journal ranked 498th. This rise in ranking has seen the journal move from 588th (out of 600) in 2023, to 576th (out of 620) in 2024, and now to 498th (out of 626).

The journal is also one of around 6,200 open-access scientific journals that have been awarded the JCR seal.
