Director

He/she is responsible for the institutional representation of the journal. As director of the editorial team, he/she decides on the appointment and dismissal of the members of the Executive Committee, the Executive Secretariat, the Editorial Board and the Scientific Committee. He/she dictates the general guidelines and the general scope of the journal.

Executive Committee

Its functions include planning the content of the publication and ensuring that the process of producing the different issues is carried out in accordance with the standards of the publication. In consultation with the editorial secretariat, it ultimately decides on the acceptance or rejection of papers.

Coordination and Editing / Management Secretariat

Its role is to assist the Executive Committee in defining the content and style of the journal. It assigns manuscripts to reviewers and supervises the evaluation process, as well as, in general, the publication of papers. It also decides on the authors' requests for adjustment of the papers to the evaluation reports.

Editorial Board

Its members are appointed by the director and together with him/her provide the overall strategic direction of the journal. They are international experts in the actuarial profession and communicate to the journal editors relevant information that may enhance the scientific quality of the journal. They may participate in the evaluation and selection of papers submitted to the journal.

Scientific Committee

Made up of leading figures in the discipline in which the journal publishes. Its aim is to support the editorial director and the editor and editor-in-chief in the task of producing a relevant and high quality publication, advising on the most appropriate editorial procedures for the journal, on any conflicting issues that need to be resolved, advising on improvements, assisting in the promotion of the journal, encouraging colleagues and prestigious authors to submit their articles to the journal, etc.
